Korea Times: Korean American Neutrogena Model Stephanie Lee at Home in Korea

Stephanie Lee

Korean American model Stephanie Lee feels quite at home in Korea.

She was born in Michigan, but her family moved back to Korea almost immediately after she was born. The family returned to live in the United States 11 years later.

” I was an outsider back in the U.S. and I felt more connected to Korea.”

The American must have felt like an immigrant, coming to the States not knowing any English.

She credits her diet to her tall model-like features.

“I think the food I ate in the States made me tall,” she told the Korea Times. I wasn’t super tall when I was in Korea. I ate so little and I was rather skinny. But, when I went back to States, the food was amazing, like hamburgers, pizza and everything. My genes obviously played a huge role, too,” Lee said.

She became inspired to be a model watching America’s Next Top Model. It wasn’t long before she signed a contract with the prestigious Elite Model Management.

You can read about her path to becoming a superstar model in the Korea Times and you can check out one of her modeling shoots in the video below.
