The new Chief Executive Officer of American Apparel has promised to meet with a community group about the offensive remarks the company’s founder and former CEO Dov Charney is accused of making about Filipinos, reports the Inquirer.

A company investigation found that Charney told some workers they were “Filipino pigs…with your faces in the trough.”

He also allegedly told them he was their “Ferdinand Marcos” and that he would tell them what to do.

The West Bay Multi-Service Center is threatening to sue both Charney and the company which it said failed to act promptly on the matter.

There’s  no word when the meeting with American Apparel CEO Paula Schneider will take place.

You can read what the Center’s executive director is saying about the potential suit in the Inquirer.
