Martial arts actor and director Donnie Yen has reportedly been cast as a Jedi in Stars War VIII.
According to the Strait Times , Apple Daily is reporting that Yen is scheduled to be in London next month to begin filming.
There’s been no official confirmation from Disney and the Apple Daily did not cite any sources, but the story says Yen’s character will meet up with Hans Solo and the two will become allies.
The news comes after a recent report in the Digital Times that Ken Leung of Lost will appear in VII as a Rebel/Resistance military officer.
Episode VII is due out in December.
Episode VIII has a May 2017 release date.
