These are fathers and sons who reached the highest pinnacle of their professional careers.
GMA reports on the Los Angeles County Superior Court Bench, there’s now Filipino American Julian Recana and his father Mel “Red” Recana. California Governor Jerry Brown appointed the younger Recana to a judgeship just last week. Interestingly, it was Governor Brown during his first term 34 years ago who appointed the elder Recana to the court bench.
Julian Recana comes by way of the District Attorney’s office where he served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Hardcore Gang Division.
