Actress Tippi Hedren will join about 100 Vietnamese refugees for a reunion to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their arrival to America, reports the OC Register.
Hedren is best known as the star of the Alfred Hitchcock classic The Birds , but is also fondly remembered by the Vietnamese community for teaching them about the nail salon business. Today, Vietnamese Americans hold 40 percent of the licenses nationally.
The reunion will take place at the Hope Village in Weimar, California. It was also the site of the first manicurist class that Hedren taught.
