Dartmouth may be one of the eight Ivy League schools and among the most prestigious universities in the country, but Asian American students there say there’s a major hole in their education.
India.com reports that students at Dartmouth have launched a What Dartmouth Doesn’t Teach You campaign to bring attention to the lack of Asian American Studies and related curriculum on campus.
The students are photographed holding up a white board with messages such as “Dartmouth doesn’t teach me the history of Asian American discrimination/oppression in the U.S.” to “Dartmouth doesn’t teach me that they value Asian American Studies.”
