Director Joseph Kahn accepts a hug from Taylor Swift after winning the VMA Best Music Video Award for Bad Blood
Director Joseph Kahn won his eighth MTV Video Music Award Sunday night, this time for Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood.
The video with Kendrick Lamar features an ensemble cast which includes Swift, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne, Jessica Alba, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargitay and Filipino American Hailee Steinfeld, an 18-year-old-actress who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for True Grit at the age of 14.
Bad Blood is thought to be about a feud between two pop stars. Many presume those two stars to be Swift and Katy Perry, although Swift has never publicly confirmed that. According to Wikipedia, Swift felt that Perry was trying to sabotage her concert tour by hiring people who worked for her.
