Native Hawaiian Auli’i Cravalho has been cast as the voice of Moana, Disney’s first Pacific Islander Princess, reports The Denver Channel.
The 14-year-old Cravalho didn’t even want to audition for the part thinking she didn’t have a chance.
A casting agent convinced her to come out and she beat out hundreds of girls for the role.
Moana is due out Thanksgiving 2016.
