Lea Salonga reunited on Good Morning America Friday for a reunion with Academy Award winning composer Alan Menken and singer and writer Brad Kane for a performance of Oscar-winning hit A Whole New World.
The trio originally performed the song in 1992 for the movie Aladdin. The tune won an Academy Award for best original song.
Salonga is currently performing on Broadway in the play Allegiance with George Takei and Telly Leong. The show is about a family torn apart by the incarceration of their family as they are forced to choose between allegiance to America or fighting for the principles of the U.S. constitution.
Allegiance is currently in previews and officially opens November 8.
