Hill co-produced the album with the legendary Prince. The two cut the LP at his Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis after she caught the icon’s attention by mentioning him in an interview as her dream collaborator.

She won a Grammy for her performance in the Morgan Neville Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet from Stardom.
