Police in New York have released a picture of the suspect in the stabbing of Tony winner David Henry Hwang.
The playwright was walking home from the grocery store when an unknown assailant approached him from behind and stabbed him in the neck.
Unfortunately, the picture is of the suspect from behind. You can tell the suspect is of average build and perhaps close to the same height as Hwang who is 5’9″ tall.
One report speculated the suspect is a woman, but I did not think that when looking at the photo.
LATEST STORIES
The attack was unprovoked and there is no known motive at this time. Hwang was not robbed.
Not sure if the photo is helpful, but perhaps anyone who knows the person might recognize him or her.
