Julie Chen and the crew from The Talk won a People’s Choice Award Wednesday night for favorite daytime program.
What people will unfortunately remember most is the interloper who ran up on stage when the award was presented.
Julie Chen could be seen awkwardly smiling with her mouth wide open as fellow host Sharon Osbourne kicked the man in the rear.
“You ain’t gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here,” Talk host Sheryl Underwood said as he ran off stage.
Someone else could be heard saying “security, security.”
By that time it was too late. The damage had been done.
Chen graciously pointed to Sara Gilbert to accept the award on their behalf, even though Chen is well established as the lead host on the program.
