Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has already made Filipino-American history. Now it’s adding one of the community’s top celebrities.
Tony-award winning Broadway star Lea Salonga will be guest-starring in the musical in its season finale, reports Broadway World. She will be playing the aunt of the show’s main character Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III).
Of course, there can’t be Lea Salonga on a musical show without her singing.

The show returns with its mid-season premiere Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on the CW, though Salonga won’t appear until the season finale. Be sure to catch her then, however, as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend may not be returning for a second season, due to low ratings.
Though it could be saved by a Golden Globe, recently awarded to the series’ lead actress Rachel Bloom for her role as Rebecca Bunch.
