The Lunar New Year calendar may say it’s the Year of the Monkey, but it’s the Year of the Rat on Fresh Off the Boat.
The show returns with an all new episode tonight at 8/7 Central after a winter hiatus.
The Huangs are all excited about going home to Washington, D.C. to celebrate the Chinese New Year with family, but in typical Huang fashion, their plans go haywire and they are forced to spend the holiday in Orlando.
Finding an Asian community to celebrate with in Florida turned into a challenge.
The family did find a group called the Asian American Association of Orlando, but its celebration proved less than authentic.
I can see Grandma Huang having some real funny lines with this plot.
