At just 5’2″, Japanese American actress Karen Fukuhara is about to kick some butt.
She’s set to play the female samurai warrior Katana in the comic book movie Suicide Squad.
The movie stars Will Smith and Margot Robbie.
“Someone recently told me how refreshing it is to see an Asian woman as a superhero,” Fukuhara told Playboy, which is no longer a nude magazine. “That stuck with me. Stand up for yourself and what you love.”
According to CinemaBlend, Katana will be used in the movie as a bodyguard
Katana, AKA Tats Yamashiro, is a superhero that is a member of DC Comic’s Justice League and The Outsiders.
