This has been an Olympics of comebacks for Team USA.

They lost their first two matches, but came back to win three straight in pool play before losing in the semifinals to Italy.

On Sunday, they once again began the match in a deficit, falling two sets to none before defeating Russia in five sets.

Erik Shoji led the U.S. with nine digs.
