Variety is reporting the USA cable channel is developing Connoisseur, a drama about a con artist that would star John Cho.
Cho will reportedly play Clay Park, a con artist who draws the attention of the FBI and organized crime by duping the wealthy into paying millions for fake wine.
Cho would also serve as executive producer of the series along with Gary Lundy and Ben Watkins.
This would be Cho’s biggest regular role on television since the short-lived Selfie in 2014 and Go On in 2012-2013. He is currently playing Sulu in Star Trek Beyond.
There’s no word on when Connoisseur might make it onto USA’s schedule.
