Two vendors are suing the Grand Central Market in Los Angeles saying they were pushed out because they are Asian, reports KABC.
Kim and Bo Soo Jo say their leases were not renewed along with 11 other minority-owned businesses and replaced with White businesses.
“I’ve never seen my dad mistreated like this, and he’s been in this country since he was 19 years old. I want my dad to have his dignity back,” said Kim’s daughter, Lana Kim.
The market says it celebrates the diversity of Los Angeles and denied the charges.
The lawsuit seeks $6 million in damages.
