Two videos just released show two sides of Donald Trump.
The first from the AAPI Victory Fund, the first Asian American Pacific Islander super pac, produced a video highlighting what it considered to be racist statements made about Asians and Asian Americans.
“Donald Trump’s America takes away the very core of what it is to be an American–our diversity,” said Varun Nikore, AAPI Victory Fund vice chair of strategy & operations. “Trump has divided and insulted us and has made us all more conscious of the ways in which we are different. In contrast, Secretary Clinton has provided numerous examples of our shared values and commonalities–no matter who you are or where you are from. We believe she is the best choice for AAPI voters of all ages, and look forward to supporting her with our votes.”
The second is a commercial released by the Trump campaign targeting Indian Americans. In the video, Trump is heard speaking Hindi and repeating the words of India Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The ad comes shortly after a Trump rally in New Jersey where he spoke to thousands of Indian Americans.
“I will look forward to working with Prime Minister Modi, who has been very energetic in reforming India’s bureaucracy,” said Trump in New Jersey.
