The family of a Yale student whose body was discovered on what was supposed to be her wedding day has settled their lawsuit against the University for a reported $3 million dollars.

Annie Le was found dead in 2009 stuffed inside the wall in a campus locker room.

The Hartford Courant reports the lawsuit accused of the university of not doing enough to protect Le and should have known her killer, Yale lab technician Raymond Clark III, posed a danger.

The lawsuit said Yale knew that Clark, who is now serving a 44 year sentence for Le’s murder, had “previously demonstrated aggressive behavior and a violent propensity towards women.”

Yale had no comment on the settlement.
