From the annual Firecracker Ceremony to the Lunar New Year Parade , thousands of people have come out to Manhattan’s Chinatown to watch the colorful events and celebrate the year of the rooster.
The Lunar New Year is typically celebrated for two weeks. On the Chinese calendar this is 4715.
