Noor Sabah is one lucky little girl to have such a sweet brother.
17-year-old Mohammad Hasher of Portage, Michigan noticed his little sis’ sad look and asked what was wrong.
When Mohammad heard Noor’s disappointment about not going to the father-daughter dance, Mohammad decided to step up.
“There was no hesitation on my end, I shouted, ‘I’ll take you to the daddy-daughter dance!’ ” said Mohammad to People. “She gets on my nerves a lot, but we’re so close. We lean on each other for support and depend on each other for happiness.
“She’s my world and my ray of sunshine!”
Her father hasn’t been seen in six months since he divorced Noor’s mom, Sadia Karamat, six months ago.
“We had a lot of fun,” Noor tells PEOPLE. “He looked very good and he is so funny.”
Mom Sadia expressed pride and gratitude about her son who she described as a “good big brother.”
I’ll second that.
