2 Broke Girls Cancelled, but Not Going Away

Matthew Moy in 2 Broke GirlsThe most racist television program currently on television has been cancelled.

2 Broke Girls co-stars Matthew Moy as Han Lee, a nerdy Asian character whose the butt of many of the jokes from the attractive stars, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

Han speaks in a faux accent and reinforces the stereotype of the unattractive and unassertive Asian male.

There hasn’t been a character as negative to the Asian American image than Han since perhaps 16 Candles and Long Duk Dong.

Guy Aoki of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans celebrated the news of 2 Broke Girls cancellation, calling it a “racist piece of sh*t.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the program was cancelled by CBS after six seasons primarily because no network has an ownership stake in the program.

Unfortunately, we haven’t seen the last of 2 Broke Girls. The program will likely live on in reruns.
