The gunman involved in the San Francisco UPS shooting on Wednesday appears to have targeted the three victims that were killed, CBS News reports.

The shooter was identified as 38-year-old Jimmy Lam, an employee of UPS for 18 years. There were four deaths, including himself, and two injuries. The three killed were identified as 56-year-old Wayne Chan and 50-year-old Benson Louie and 46-year-old Mike Lefiti, all whom were Lam’s co-workers.

After a routine morning meeting at the Portrero Hill UPS facility on Wednesday, Lam opened fire around 9 a.m. NBC Bay Area says he reportedly told his other colleagues to “get out” while he singled out others who he felt belittled him. Witnesses said Lam approached driver Louie and shot him, then shot Chan in the back while he was trying to flee, and Lefiti on the street near the UPS facility, CBS news reports.

Lam filed a complaint in March about working overtime and requested the company cut his extra hours, said Joseph Cilia, an official with a union that represents UPS San Francisco drivers. Cilia said he doesn’t know why Lam shot the three victims.

“I never knew Jimmy to not get along with people,” Cilia said. “Jimmy wasn’t a big complainer.”

Shaun Vu, a senior UPS driver, told ABC Lam had troubles with his girlfriend a few years ago over visitation rights for their child. Vu advised him to see a professional and Lam took off for a couple months. When he returned to work, Vu said he seemed fine but seemed troubled in the past couple of  weeks.

Lam had no criminal history besides two drunken driving cases in 2010 and 2013.

Lefti and Louie had worked at UPS for 17 years while Louie for 28 years. Friends and love ones are mourning over the three victims who left behind children and families. A memorial was dedicated to them at the UPS facility.
