PGA champion Danielle Kang was spotted drinking pho out of her trophy on Sunday after her victory, reports The Huffington Post. The golfer’s brother posted a photograph of her slurping down the noodles.
Although the trophy was to remain with the organizers on the night of Kang’s victory, she and fellow golfer Michelle Wie, who is also a close friend of hers, “stole” the trophy for a celebration.
“I had my caddies drink beer out of it, I ate noodles out of that thing, and then we had to return it,” said Kang.
After winning the U.S. Women’s Amateur twice in a row in 2010 and 2011, Kang has finally snagged her first LPGA victory, and she’s celebrating with taste.
