Amber Alert Issued for One-Month-Old Asian Baby

The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help to be on the lookout for a one-month-old Asian baby authorities say was kidnapped by his father in Tejon in Kern County.

The alert was issued for Los Angeles, Kern, Kings, Tulare and Fresno Counties, however it has also been reported the baby may be taken to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Jefferson Gomes is described as 12 pounds with brown hair and eyes last seen wearing a navy blue onesie.

His father is Jeffrey Michael Gomes. He is a 42-year old Hispanic male, 6 feet tall and 207 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and grey long sleeve shirt, grey hat and dark blue jeans.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, you should not try to stop him yourself, but you should call 911.
