A man who owned a gentleman’s club in Fayetteville, North Carolina was shot and killed at his club early Saturday, reports WNCN.
Four others were injured in the shooting spree at the club, including one who is in serious condition and another in fair condition. The two others have been released from the hospital.
Akash R. Talati, 40, died shortly after the shooting and was identified as the owner of the Diamondz Gentlemen’s Club.
Markeese Dewitt, 23, is accused in the shooting. Witnesses say bouncers had just kicked him out of the club when he began shooting.
A man who lived near the club told WRAL that it was not known as a trouble spot.
“For the first three months, whenever I walk by, it was always a nice vibe. They’re just nice people, having a good time. Nothing is going on,” said Sean Daley, who recently moved to the area.”
