A graphic on the Saturday sportscast should have said Pyeongchang 2018.
The graphic that made it on the air, however, said PF Chang 2018, a reference to the Asian fusion chain restaurant.
By now you’re probably thinking WTF.
Here’s what happened, according to the Chicago Tribune. The station had put together a satirical piece where the PF Chang graphic was used Friday.
Somehow that graphic was substituted Saturday morning for the one that was intended to have been used, Pyeongchang 2018.
ABC7 Chicago spokesperson Jayme Nicholas apologized for the goof.
