Family Struggles to Make Sense of Triple Murder Two Months Later

Joe Lor and familyTwo months after the murder of Joe Lor, his wife Gina Xiong and 5-year-old daughter Kayleen Lor, the family gathered at a crime scene to pay tribute to the dead, reports the Stockton Record.

The three were shot and killed when a gunman fired shots into a home during a mother’s day celebration in Stockton, CA.

The family remains stunned and frustrated at the same time.

“I mean we’re broken. There’s no other word to describe it,” said Joe’s sister, Ka Lor Vang, to KCRA “It’s been two months and we don’t have any leads.”

About 20 people fanned out Sunday through the neighborhood passing out flyers asking the public to contact authorities with any information.

A $30,000 reward is being offered in the case.

“There are so many things going on right now, the family just can’t mourn properly,” said Joe Lor’s brother, Cheng, to the Stockton Record. “We just don’t want this to become a cold case.”

The family has set up a website urging the public to come forward with any information.
