A realtor in British Columbia has made public a racist letter she received telling her she had “invaded, infested and defaced Vancouver with her presence.”
Winnie Wu published the letter on her Facebook page.
It is unclear whether the letter was received anonymously. Where the letter writer’s signature would usually be is covered by Wu with the envelope.
The letter is addressed to Wu and all Asian realtors in our cities.
“Chinks and gooks are not welcomed in our neighborhood,” the letter begins.

The letter goes on to imply Wu’s listing will be vandalized.
Comments left on Wu’s facebook page have been filled with outrage.
“Whoever wrote that letter is a singularly ugly human,” wrote one.
“This is disgusting. I hope you and the community stay safe,” said another.
“I’m so sorry that this happened to you. Please know that we’re not all filled with hatred below the surface. This person is vile,” wrote a third.
