Lucy Liu Responds to Saturday Night Live Shoutout from Awkwafina

Actress Lucy Liu has joined the mutual admiration society with Awkwafina.

The two are the only Asian American women ever to host Saturday Night Live.

Awkwafina reached out to Liu during her monologue Saturday, saying she wanted to be friends with Liu and gave the Charlie’s Angel’s star a shout out for “opening the door.”

On Thursday she took to Instagram to acknowledge the up and coming Awkwafina.
