22-year-old Gavin Octaviano has reportedly been missing since last Friday afternoon, reports NextShark.

The young Filipino American was reportedly seen around 5:20 p.m. at the northern parking lot of the Golden Gate Bridge area in San Francisco. Then four hours later, friends say he was spotted across the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County at the parking lot for the bridge.

According to someone involved in the search, they’ve looked on some trails surrounding the south and north ends of the bridge. If you would like to volunteer to help search for Gavin, please contact 415-672-8929.

At midnight Thursday, an organizer wrote on Reddit “We stopped our search for now as the storm is fast approaching. We looked at the side of the freeway, road ditches, deep cliffs, and bushes around the Robin Williams tunnel areas but no sign of him yet.”

According to the GoFundMe page set up by his family, Octaviano was supposed to meet up with friends and family for dinner that night and never showed up.

The GoFundMe post says that Octaviano turned 22  on the 27th and will be graduating in Spring 2019 from the University of California, Irvine.

Marlene Alcantara, Octaviano’s cousin, described him as “one of the most kind-hearted, selfless, and caring people” she knows.

“He always impacted everyone around him positively no matter what the relationship or situation,” she wrote. “He genuinely has such a caring matter and has made such an enormous impact on so many lives. He always effortlessly made everyone around him feel good and continuously put smiles on people’s faces every day.”

According to Alcantara, the family will use donations to help bring more awareness to get Octaviano back home.
