Mindy Kaling announced on Twitter Wednesday her latest project, Late Night, will be part of the Sundance Film Festival 2019 lineup. In her tweet, Kaling also included sneak peek photos of the film.

For those that don’t know, Late Night stars Kaling and Emma Thompson. Thompson plays a talk show host who has just hired her first female writer (Kaling).
Emmy-nominated Nisha Ganatra, director of episodes for television series such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Transparent, Better Things, and Dear White People, directed the film. Ganatra’s other credits include feature films Fast Food High and Chutney Popcorn.

In addition to starring in the film, Kaling also wrote the screenplay.

Kaling’s film is one out of 112 films to be shown at Sundance, which is scheduled to take place in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Sundance Mountain Resort next year from January 24-February 3.
