The founder of the day spa where New England Patriot’s owner Robert Kraft is accused of soliciting sex spent Super Bowl Sunday with the President at his Mar-a-Lago Palm Beach resort, reports the Miami Herald.
Li Yang, who goes by Cindy Yang, was seated at a table directly behind Trump at the party and took photos with him, according to the Herald. She told the paper she sold the Orchids of Asian Day Spa some time ago, but the Herald reported her family currently owns Tokyo Day Spa branches which at least two law enforcement agencies suspect may be houses of prostitution.
Yang declined to address the allegations, but told the paper she is out of the business, doesn’t want any negative press and has never broken the law. She and her family have donated $16,000 to the President’s campaign and $42,000 to Trump victory, a political action committee connected to the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.
According to Mother Jone’s, Yang runs an investment business which offers to sell access to the president and his family. The magazine reported GY US Investments LLC website says its activities include opportunities to interact with the president, including taking photos with him.
