Grandma battles her attacker

Grandma robbed in Seattle
From surveillance video

68-year-old Mei Yeung is one tough lady.

The grandmother struggled with her attacker in Seattle. According to KIRO-TV, surveillance video shows a man following her. As she walks out of the camera’s view, the suspect jogs towards her and suddenly you can hear screaming. She fights him off and temporarily escapes before he pulls her back and onto the ground.

The man pulls the rings off Yeung’s fingers and runs off with her bag. That’s when she gets up and chases him until he escapes in a car.

You know, she’s a fighter at the end of the day,” son in law Kevin Lo said to Fox13.

“She’s a tough lady,” Yeung’s daughter told KIRO. “Unbelievable, bizarre because it was the daytime.”

According to Fox13, Yeung was also robbed four years ago. That time she did not report it. This time she hopes coming forward will lead to the suspect’s capture and prevent him from doing this again to anyone else.
