Henry Golding, one year off the success of Crazy Rich Asians, will star as a leading man in a new romantic comedy.
Last Christmas is set for a November 8th release. Golding will star opposite Emilia Clarke from The Game of Thrones.
Clarke plays Kate, a down on her luck Christmas elf at a department store. She meets Tom (Golding) under embarrassing circumstances and the two get off to an icy start.
Universal Pictures released the film’s first trailer this week.
Emma Thompson, co-produced the film and plays Clarke’s mom. Michelle Yeoh is also set to appear as Adelia, Clarke’s tough boss at a department store. The music of George Michael also is prominent in the movie, which is set in London.
