Police in New York this week released video of a teenager attacking an 85-year old man in Manhattan’s East Village.
The video shows two teen girls and a boy followed Himan Li around 6:30 Wednesday. The boy suddenly sucker punched Li as he tried to enter a building. All three then ran from the scene. Li suffered severe pain and a swollen jaw.
According to ABC7NY, Li said that he did not see the attack coming and that the teens had been following him for half a block.
A security guard, who confronted the two girls and called police, helped Li to get up. . Nextshark reported that by the time police arrived, all three teens had fled.
Li told ABC7 that he would ask the teens’ parents if they had taught their children to attack helpless people on the street.
