A Little Late with Lilly Singh debuts tonight on NBC. The show will follow Late Night with Seth Meyers at 1:35 a.m.
If you’re not a night owl, no worries. The Peacock Network is taking full advantage of Singh’s social media following by releasing her premiere on You Tube at 10 pm Eastern Time, reported Tube Filter.
“Whenever I can give you what you want… I will. And I hear you loud and clear international fans. That’s why the premiere of @latewithlilly will stream live on YouTube EARLIER than it will air on tv,” she said on Instagram, according to Narcity.
Singh will be the first women to get her own late night talk show on network television, although there have been numerous women hosts on day time talk. The Asian Canadian is also the first Asian to get her own late night talk show. Several Asian American women have been part of various day time ensemble talk casts including Julie Chen and Carrie Ann Inaba on The Talk and Lisa Ling on The View.
She also came out as bisexual in February
A Little Late with Lilly Singh will also get a boost with a prime time one hour special Wednesday night at 10 Eastern. A Little Late with Lilly Singh: The Primetime Special will follow the two hour season finale of America’s Got Talent.
