Hulu’s upcoming comedy series Dollface will be bringing back some familiar faces to the screen, reports Elite Daily.
Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) will be starring as Jules, who attempts to rekindle old friendships with her estranged girlfriends, played by Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody), Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), and Esther Povitsky (Alone Together), after an abrupt end to a longterm relationship.
Jules “must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind,” according to the official synopsis.

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Mitchell was working on Dollface several months into her pregnancy. The half Filipino star is now expecting her baby soon, publicly documenting her 9-month journey on social media.
Song recently starred in Netflix thriller Secret Obsession and is currently lending her voice to the main character of animated Disney series Amphibia.
Song insists Dollface will be relatable to a wide audience that includes not just women.
“At the end of the day, the friendships are what drive the show, and these characters are so distinct and themselves that I think that people watching, whether they’re male or female, can find qualities in each of these characters that they can relate to,” said Song, who is of Hmong and Thai descent. “So it doesn’t matter if you’re male or female—it’s about friendship, and it’s about life.”
The series is executive produced by Dennings and Margot Robbie, who is hoping to promote female-driven projects with her production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
According to Teen Vogue, the ten-episode first season is scheduled to premiere on November 15.
