Deadline reports that Jessica Henwick is in final negotiations to star in Matrix 4 alongside Keanu Reeves.
The Singaporean, Chinese and Zambian English actress could play what Deadline describes as a female-like Neo character at the forefront of the new film.
Henwick played Nymeria Sand on HBO’s Game of Thrones and Colleen Wing on Marvel/Netflix’s Iron Fist and The Defenders.
Variety reports Warner Bros has been looking into reintroducing Matrix to the movie universe and plans to bring back both Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss.
Henwick is on a roll and has upcoming parts in Godzilla vs. Kong, Sofia Coppola’s On the Rocks with Bill Murray, and Kristen Stewart thriller Underwater.
