On Friday, actress Jameela Jamil posted an old photo of herself reflecting on her experience with an eating disorder.
The Good Place actress has been very open with her struggle in the past and has since been a figure in the movement for body positivity and against fatphobia.
It wasn’t until a car accident when she was 17, that Jamil realized the importance of combating anorexia and dysmorphia, according to People Magazine.
In another tweet, Jamil shares the kind of therapy she used and also calls attention to the “I Weigh Community”, a movement Jamil started in 2018.
Jamil can be seen in The Good Place, which will release the final episodes of its final season on January 9, 2020.
