James Corden Releases A Video To Thank BTS Army For Supporting #BlackLivesMatter

After K-Pop group BTS donated $1 million toward the Black Lives Matter movement, their fans quickly followed, donating to local and global organizations. In response to the contributions, host of the Late Late Show James Corden released a clip from the BTS Carpool Karaoke as a thank you to the BTS Army.

The BTS army joined the movement by posting on social media outlets and using the hashtags #BLM and #WhyLivesMatter. With more than 35,000 donors from the Army, another $1 million was raised within 24 hours.

BTS group member Jimin gave Corden the nickname “Papa Mochi,” which Corden now has in his Twitter bio. After releasing the video on the Late-Late Show, Corden tweeted “The #BTSArmy has been doing some incredible work in recent days –so Papa Mochi got you a little gift!”
