Two window washers had a morning scare as an accident in Boston’s Chinatown left one workerhanging onto scaffolding and the other dangling 12 stories above the ground, CBS Boston reports.

The incident occurred at an apartment building.

One witness said the workers were stranded for “at least 10 to 15 minutes,” WHDH 7Newsreports.

Luckily, a Boston Fire Department unit arrived on the scene and rescued both workers, with no hospitalizations needed.

One witness described the workers as “panicked.”

The rescuers shattered a window to the get to them.

“They went up and actually brought both workers safely through the windows. They both appear to be safe and sound,” Boston Fire Captain Jonathan Hernandez said, according toWHDH 7News.
