A Canadian Chinese-owned restaurant was the scene of a shocking exchange from an angry customer who yelled expletives at staff for allegedly taking too long with his order, CTV News reports.
The incident was posted on Facebook Friday and has since gone viral, CTV News reports.
According to Vancouver Sun, the Chinese Garden Restaurant, located in Blind Bay, British Columbia, is a “local gem” with “wonderful” owners, Amanda Toms, the person who posted the video, said.
“There are no words to describe how disgusting this behaviour is,” Toms said. “Not on tape is him speeding in and out of the parking lot squealing his tires and nearly swerving into parked cars in the lot.”
In the video, the man continues to direct expletives at the elderly staff as they attempt to calm him down, CTV reports.
“I don’t f—ing care anymore! I’ve got to go feed my two-year-old,” the man said. “F— you! If you can’t take orders, tell people you can’t!”
According to Times Colonist, the incident comes just a few days after British Columbia Premier John Hogan called people “idiots” for verbally abusing restaurant staff in another incident at a steakhouse.
“You’ve got employees that are doing their level best to provide an opportunity for people to come together to share a meal in a safe, comfortable place, and to have idiots come in and be idiots, quite frankly, is not acceptable,” Hogan said, Times Colonist reports.
