Racist realtor handcuffed and arrested

By Louis Chan, AsAmNews National Correspondent

A realtor seen on video declaring to a Black man “I’m a racist” and that this is a “no n***er zone” faces a disorderly conduct charge.

AsAmNews obtained a copy of the police report outlining the arrest of Paul Ng by the Scottsdale Police Department in Arizona.

During a follow up interview with police, Ng acknowledged he used the “N” word at least one other time during his conversation with a YouTuber identified in the police report as Andre Rayvone Abram.

Abram is known on social media as Dre or LilAJDre. Dre originally posted the video on Instagram and has since posted a fuller video with commentary on his YouTube channel. AsAmNews originally reported about this incident yesterday.

Ng told police that that Abram had made the comment about “Scottsdale is full of White racists.”

Ng said he responded by saying, “well, they’re all not White, N***er.”

The officer then asked him if he saw how that comment might provoke a fight. Ng said he did not believe that. He said he feared Abram was on a “recon team” and expressed fears of a possible crime.

In an earlier interview with police, Ng said someone several months ago during riots had thrown a large rock through the window of a business and stole $80,000 in merchandise. He made comments about BLM and Antifa and, according to the police report, “implied that Black people do not belong in the area.”

Ng said he routinely keeps an eye out for “suspicious individuals” and when he noticed Abram and his photographer with a car with Michigan plates and an expensive camera, he felt that was suspicious.

Ng told the officer during the second interrogation that Abram “inflamed” him when he insinuated that Scottsdale was full of “White racists.”

Ng then acknowledged that his comments could cause fallback, but also stated the incident would be gone and forgotten within a week.

The officer then placed Ng “in handcuffs with his hands to the rear” and then escorted Ng to the rear of the patrol car.

Paul Ng

After being jailed, the police report said Ng felt he had been provoked by Abram.

The video of Ng with Abram occurred in front of a Scottsdale business. Some have wrongly assumed that Ng was associated with that business. The owner of the  River Trading Post told police that someone posted the video of the encounter between Ng and Abram on its Facebook page. The Trading Post has received “multiple negative and threatening comments” and said she feared possible retaliation as a result of the video.

Ng has no affiliation with the River Trading Post, but was an realtor for  Russ Lyon Sotheby’s, International Realty. Ng has since been fired. You can find more details about the incident and comments from Sothedy’s International Realty in our story yesterday.
