99 Ranch Market signs with Instacart for deliveries

Popular Asian American grocery chain 99 Ranch will now be offering deliveries and orders through Instacart.

The Progressive Grocer reports shoppers near 53 stores in nine different states can now get their groceries within one hour.

“This effort will diversify our existing offerings and elevate shopping experiences,” Public Relations director Juliet Chen said to the Progressive Grocer.

According to Supermarket News, the chain is owned by Tawa Supermarket Inc. with locations in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, New Jersey, Texas, Maryland, Massachusetts and Virginia.

“Same-day delivery has become essential and we know how important it is for customers to be able to reach their favorite retailer online,” said Andrew Nodes, vice president of retail at Instacart. “People are looking for convenience and reliability, and we’re proud to launch with 99 Ranch Market to help this beloved retailer expand its offering and further serve the communities it operates in.”

Orders can be made online or through the Instacart app.

Instacart will leave all orders at the front door to maintain social distancing. Deliveries may be scheduled at a convenient time for the shopper.

99 Ranch market was founded by Taiwanese American Roger Chen and is the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States. Its’ main competitors are Pacific Market and Seafood City.

99 Ranch Market is headquartered in Buena Park, CA.
