A stranger in La Jolla near San Diego confronted an Asian American couple taking their baby on a stroll with a bizarre question: ‘Why do Muslims only behead White people and not Chinese people?’ according to Jane Woo.
Woo posted the video about her experience on Twitter.
Woo quoted the woman incorrectly. She actually said ‘Why do Muslims only behead White people and not Asians?”
Nonetheless, what she said was racist.
It’s not clear what the woman might have been referencing, but Woo suspects she might have been alluding to the recent attack in Nice, France.

“We were just kind of like stunned and laughing because it was so ridiculous,” Woo told NBC San Diego.
Woo and her husband tried to ignore the woman, but couldn’t help but to chuckle out loud. That only angered her more.
“You think being beheaded is funny? You think murder based on race and ethnicity is funny?”
“No, I think you’re coming up to me very closely,” said the husband.
“I think that’s called a crime on humanity,” she replied.
Woo says this is the second time in as many weeks that she’s been harassed by a stranger. She also wouldn’t be surprised if it happens again.
“It broke my heart, essentially,” Woo said. “And I think — even standing here now — I do feel like triggers, like, Is someone going to come up behind me? Is someone going to start randomly accosting me for no reason? And that’s not the America I want to live in.”

Don’t feel bad for laughing at her stupid racist comment. The microaggression needs to stop. She knows, you know and we all know what she was implying when she asked the racist question.
