Jeremy Lin was photographed working out with Steph Curry and The Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, Yahoo Sports reports.

A sports photographer captured Lin playing with Steph Curry, Eric Paschall, Kevon Looney, Marquese Chriss and Alen Smailagic at one of the University of San Francisco’s indoor courts.

In September, Lin announced his departure from the Chinese Basketball Association where he spent the last two seasons with the Beijing Ducks, CBS Sports reports. Upon his departure, Lin said he intended to focus on making an NBA comeback.

For the past few months, Lin has posted photos and videos of his training sessions on social media. He has been training with professional basketball trainer Jordan Lawley. Tuesday’s training session would mark the first time Lin has been photographed training with current NBA players.

The photos come as NBA free agency is set to to begin. Starting Friday, NBA teams will have the opportunity to sign Lin if they so choose.

The photos may also help rumors about Lin and the Warriors gain steam. In late October, NBC News Bay Area reported that the Warriors had expressed interest in signing Lin.

Signing with the Warriors would be a kind of homecoming for Lin who grew up in the Bay Area. Before his 2012 rise to fame at Madison Square Garden with the New York Knicks, Lin signed with the Warriors in 2010 as an undrafted free agent.

Yahoo Sports noted that Steph Curry praised Lin in 2012, when he found success with the Knicks.

“I knew he’d last in the NBA,” Curry told ESPN in 2012, shortly before Lin joined the Houston Rockets in free agency. “He’s a great talent, he works hard, he gets better every day you see him. But nobody could expect once he got an opportunity to start and play significant minutes that he would over-exceed everybody. I’m happy for him. Nobody saw how much work he put in his rookie year and even over the summer before we had to release him.”

Free agency begins on Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. PT.
