Those who loved watching Crazy Rich Asians or Keeping Up With the Kardashians can now add a new program to their watchlist this holiday season with a new mega-rich family hitting reality TV: the Ho family.

After several premiere delays, an official trailer for HBO Max’s new reality TV series House of Ho — now premiering on December 10th — was just released today, Vulture reports.

“Inspired by Crazy Rich Asians, House of Ho documents the lives of the very wealthy, multi-generational Asian American Ho family living in Texas” the trailer’s description reads.

“My family is Vietnamese, but loves being American,” Judy explains in the trailer. “My parents are refugees. They came over here in 1975; most Vietnamese families settled in Houston because of the tropical weather.”

Media outlets across the internet seem to be excited for the unique perspectives this series offers:

“This show won’t just dazzle you with the Ho’s opulent lifestyle,” She Knows reports. “Their fierce family values and traditions keep them close — but they also cause constant drama that threatens to tear everyone apart.”

Those who worked to produce the show are anticipating its release as well:

“Rarely do you come across a family that is so rich in so many ways – not just in wealth, but in heart, traditions, and love for each other,” Jennifer O’Connell of HBO Max says, according to an earlier report from AsAmNews. “There’s a great pride in being a Ho and they are ready to give the world a seat at their luxurious table.”

As the trailer garners more attention on YouTube, a few comments also express interest in the series:

“This comes off as the Kardashians, but it looks like they have more personality. Seems interesting and might check it out,” Mario Mendez writes in one comment.

“You know that Aunt Tina will be the breakout star of this show.” T.E. Burgos says in another.

“This looks SO good. Already hooked,” Zacary Landolt and Arron Holman write.

“Hope it succeeds!” Ryan Cho says, echoing others who wish the show and the Ho family well.
