The work of contemporary pop artist Takashi Murakami explodes in colorful and flowery designs that have caught the eye of such big names as Louis Vuitton and Pharrell.
Murakami appeared today on the Carlos Watson show. Judging from his interview, it’s obvious Murakami doesn’t take himself too seriously despite his success.
Self-deprecating humor aside, Murakami’s illuminating works have captured the imagination of such luminaries as Marc Jacobs and Kanye.
The entire interview can be seen on the Carlos Watson Show on YouTube. New episodes drop weekdays.
